The Christian school once provided an education for approximately 125 primary and secondary boys and girls who live in the small town of Gressier. Many families could not afford to pay the full tuition. Hands on Haiti helped supplement the cost of running the school and provided the school supplies.
Most of the boys had never attended school until they came to live at the orphanage. The boys range in age from six to eighteen.

Many of the children are small for their age due to malnutrition and many suffer from a lack of care in their younger years.
Now there is no school and more than ever, the children need our help to stabilize their lives and to provide a future and a hope.
